Always wanted to learn how to solder SMD? We designed this small (5x5cm) PCB on which 36 0805 resistors needed to placed. 0805 packages (0.08″x0.05″ or 2.0mm x 1.2mm) we think are a great trade off between size and solderability, so almost everyone can manage to do it. All you need is a small tip soldering iron, 0,5-0,8mm solder (leaded or unleaded) and solderingflux.  Please take a look at this video how to solder small parts.

When all the resistors are soldered you’ll end up with a variable resistor (1 to 999.999 ohm) which comes in handy for prototyping your next project.
